Kyle Smith joined the financial services industry in 2017, but this industry has always been a part of his life. His father, Robert Smith, joined the industry with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in 1989 and built a business solely focused on helping medical professionals protect their income from sickness or injury with disability income insurance. Kyle came into the industry to help his father's business grow and thrive while ensuring that their clients have someone that could replicate the level of knowledge, service, and professionalism that Robert displayed throughout his career.
Today, their team has well over 1,000 medical professionals as clients across the country, primarily CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) as well as other advanced nurses and doctors. They travel across the country providing classroom and electronic presentations to educate graduating students on how to prepare for their financial future most effectively. They also regularly work with established professionals as they transition through significant live events and educates them on how their financial decisions can have both intended and unintended impacts on their financial future. Kyle advocates on behalf of his clients and coaches his clients through the selection of a disability policy as well as decisions around what riders to purchase and how to navigate through the disability claims process.
